Title: Sr. Data Quality Analyst

Work Location: Euless, TX 75261 (on site)

Work Schedule: 8 am 5 pm, Monday - Friday

Contract: 1+ years. Must be Authorized to Work in the US for Any Employer.

Note: w2/ C2C (Own corp) and plus 8 paid holidays and 15 days PTO

Job Description:

Under the guidance of the Senior Data Governance Manager, the Senior Data Quality Analyst supports the organization's data quality strategy by working closely with data stewards from various departments to identify and monitor critical data assets. This role involves implementing data quality initiatives, assisting in data quality monitoring, and contributing to the development of data quality standards. The Senior Data Quality Analyst ensures the accuracy and reliability of enterprise data and provides support for ongoing data quality efforts within a collaborative work environment.

Required Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in data management, with a focus on data quality.
  • Experience in building data domains from scratch, including the design and implementation of data quality rules tailored to a specific business area.
  • Experience in an enterprise or cross-functional role related to data quality.
  • Experience in data quality management, including issue tracking and reporting.
  • Experience with Informatica Data Quality for establishing and maintaining data quality rules.
  • Experience in participating in data quality working groups or similar forums.
  • Experience applying knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience demonstrating strong analytical skills with knowledge of data quality issues and processes.
  • Experience demonstrating solid written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey data quality concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience demonstrating the ability to work independently and as part of a team to drive data quality initiatives.
  • Experience demonstrating excellent collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional settings

Required Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.

Preferred Certification and Education:

  • Certification in data management, data quality, or data governance.
  • Master's Degree in a Quantitative Field.

Responsibilities:

  • Implements data quality standards, controls, and metrics for monitoring Critical Data Elements across the organization.
  • Develops and updates data quality dashboards to identify and report on data quality gaps and issues.
  • Assists in managing the data quality issue management process, including tracking and monitoring issues.
  • Utilizes Informatica Data Quality to support the establishment and maintenance of data quality rules.
  • Participates in root cause analysis of data quality issues and assists in designing remediation plans.
  • Tracks remediation efforts and collaborates with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinates with data stewards and other stakeholders to support data quality-related activities and cross-domain data quality standards.
  • Participates in data quality working groups, contributing to the design and tracking of remediation plans.
  • Assists in the creation and maintenance of data policies and procedures related to data quality.
  • Supports the development and measurement of performance metrics to assess adherence to data quality standards.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
