Preferred Certification:
Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification
Additional Salesforce certifications beyond core requirements

Required Certification:
Active Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect)

Required Skills:
Proven experience with Salesforce DevOps processes and tools for code management and deployment - 5 years
Expertise in Salesforce development technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, and LWC - 5 years
Proven Salesforce rescue and incident management experience (Sev1/Sev2 issues) - 5 years
Strong knowledge of Salesforce administration (security models, data management, user management)
Ability to establish and enforce development and deployment standards
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills

Preferred Skills:
Architecting and building complex business automation using Salesforce Flow - 5 years
Automated testing and quality gates - 5 years
Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset)
Experience working in small IT team environments
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Senior Administrator/Developer to join the IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving critical issues within Salesforce applications, ensuring the long-term health and scalability of the environment, and establishing best practices for development and deployment. This role will also mentor junior Salesforce developers and guide them in adopting industry standards and practices

Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the subject matter expert for Salesforce applications, providing advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution
Conduct comprehensive reviews of current Salesforce implementations to identify and resolve root causes of issues
Establish and document clear development and deployment standards, including:
o Code review and quality assurance guidelines
o Naming conventions for custom objects, fields, and code
o Security and data access best practices
Develop and implement solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce tools
Create and maintain detailed documentation for all development and administrative processes
Mentor and guide junior Salesforce developers to ensure adherence to best practices
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver scalable applications
Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and evolving best practices
