POSITION SUMMARY:

The Digital Marketing Analytics Lead is the Data & Insights co-pilot for understanding drivers of sales on Nespresso.com and the Nespresso App. Supporting the eCommerce Analytics Manager, this role delivers insight into the business performance of these channels, develops & interprets robust automated reports for key business stakeholders, and drives understanding of the onsite and in app customer journeys for the Digital Commerce Business Development Team. This role will be a key partner for the Digital Commerce team during the Monthly Business Planning cycles (MSR, MORs) and Operational Planning.

This position is hybrid , with weekly support in our Manhattan ,NY Headquarters combined with remote work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Own Insight & KPI Reporting:
  • Develop & maintain comprehensive, automated dashboards and reports that serve as the single source of truth for critical eCommerce KPIs
  • Develop & maintain dashboards for the Digital Commerce Business Development team to understand and track customer behavior in specific parts of the funnel
  • Conduct in-depth, ad hoc analysis of digital customer behavior, channel performance, market trends, and competition to inform strategic decision-making
  • Advance learning roadmap to ensure that teams are on a path of continuous learning & improvement

Serve as Channel Performance Co-Pilot:
  • Be the primary contact for the Digital Commerce Team in understanding business performance, including the anticipation of challenges & opportunities that might have a direct impact on channel performance
  • Lead regular performance review meetings with key stakeholders, ensuring that business leaders have a clear understanding of their channel & drivers of performance
  • Collaborate with management to prioritize business and information needs and translate these needs into data-driven solutions.
  • Develop & maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to foster trust and ensure data-driven decisions to advance the business

Inspire Data Literacy:
  • Promote a local culture of testing (A/B testing, iterative approaches, etc...)
  • Demystify Data & Analytics by supporting all stakeholders in leveraging data to make business decisions
  • Build awareness of existing Digital Analytics solutions and upskill business stakeholders on usage of them
  • Stay up to date on the advancement of eCommerce Analytics (such as transition to GA4) and educate key stakeholders on any evolutions

Support Data Pipelining:
  • Write code to automate data flows from various data sources into analytics and reporting tools
  • Maintain all created pipelines to minimize data outages and inaccuracies for stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree required, in field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Applied Analytics, Business Management or Marketing
  • 5+ years of analytics experience required
  • 3+ years of experience in an ecommerce / digital analytics roles required
  • 3+ years of experience in SQL
  • Advanced experience in Google Analytics
  • Experience with on-site A/B testing management
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker)
  • Working knowledge of R strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of Python preferred
  • Data Science background strongly preferred
  • Minimum 2 years working in an e-Commerce centric Direct to Consumer business model, preferably in consumer goods

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in uncertainty and lead change

The approximate pay range for this position is $130,000- $150,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
