Job Description:
  • Fully support, configure, maintain, and upgrade networks and servers at the Department of Aviation.
  • XXgn, build, and refine predictive models and algorithms to enhance decision-making and business value.
  • Maintain and optimize data pipelines, ensuring integrity, security, and performance across the organization.
  • Research and propose innovative data science methodologies to improve existing processes.
  • Deliver advanced analytical insights using statistical models, machine learning, and AI to solve complex problems.
  • CollaboXX with stakeholders across departments to understand data needs and deliver tailored analytics solutions.
  • Optimize data systems and models, ensuring operational efficiency with regular updates.
  • Monitor model performance for accuracy, scalability, and stability.
  • Maintain technical documentation for all data science projects.
  • Translate data findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists and analysts.
Responsibilities:
  • Respond to and resolve complex data-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
  • Recommend improvements for data infrastructure and processes.
  • Provide data-driven support for mission-critical business functions.
  • Develop and maintain data recovery and contingency plans.
  • Select appropriate data science methodologies and tools to meet business objectives.

  • Candidatetor and guide junior staff on technical best practices.
  • Present findings and strategies to upper management.
Should Have:
  • Deep knowledge of machine learning, AI, data mining, and predictive analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn.
  • Experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Strong problem-solving and innovative thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Familiarity with data security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Project management and multitasking ability.
  • Initiative, adaptability, and customer-focused mindset.
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
  • 5+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or related fields.
  • Preferred: Master's or PhD in Data Science or related field.
  • Experience leading teams or enterprise-level data projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Services, AWS Machine Learning Services.
  • Experience with ESRI/GIS analytics and spatial data insights.
  • Relevant certifications in machine learning, data science, cloud computing, or network administration are highly desirable.
