Position: Data Scientist

C2H - Remote on contract Once hired Fulltime, would have to relocate to Bentonville

Project Overview:
Time series forecasting project. This project involves developing and training deep learning modules, with a focus on optimizing multi-GPU usage to reduce costs. You will collaborate with 6-8 stakeholders and work alongside a team with a strong background in statistical machine learning. The manager, who has expertise in computer vision, is seeking a candidate with deep learning training experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement machine learning models for time series forecasting, including curve fitting and regression modules
• Train deep learning modules, particularly transformers, from scratch
• Manage the full pipeline, including order transformation, validation, and module drift
• Present and explain module usage to approximately 30 internal users
• Adapt quickly to complex topics and new technologies

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure
• Strong understanding of deep learning training techniques
• Solid SQL skills
• Excellent communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multi-GPU optimization
• Background in time series forecasting (not mandatory)
• Ability to learn rapidly and tackle complex problems
