100% ONSITE at 1320 Arthur E Adams Dr, Columbus, OH 43221

Job Description:

Provides maintenance and documentation support to information system users and/or IT specialists (e.g., enters meta-data into repositories, performs loading validation, executes unitor system test scripts, provides maintenance support for application software, develops, organizes, files, and maintains platform specific documentation).

Knowledge of:

  • computers & electronics.
  • oral & written communication tools & techniques.
  • customer support & personal service.
  • telecommunications (e.g., Microwave, wireless, fiberoptic).
  • IT security principles & methods.
  • Motorola MCC 7500 Radio Console.
  • MARCS tower sites safety practices (e.g., HVAC, door alarms, etc.).
  • operating systems installation & configuration procedures.
  • network standards, protocols & procedures.
  • platform usage.
  • capabilities of network equipment including, routers, switches, bridges, & related hardware.
  • back-up & recovery techniques; (13) technical writing & documentation practices.

Ability to:

  • carry out instructions in written, oral or picture form
  • understand manuals & verbal instructions technical in nature
  • stay abreast of current technologies in area of IT assigned
  • deal with problems involving several variables in familiar context.
