Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our team in Haverford, Pennsylvania. In this Contract-to-Permanent role, you will oversee a variety of projects within the university environment, focusing on facilities, IT, and construction initiatives. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Lead the execution of campus-wide projects, including technology upgrades for safety systems, dorm renovations, and the campus master plan.
Coordinate and manage the second phase of Workday implementation, focusing on the student module.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all tasks are tracked and completed within established timelines.
Facilitate communication and collaboration across diverse teams, including stakeholders and cross-functional departments.
Set meeting agendas, document progress, and provide regular updates to team members and stakeholders.
Monitor project budgets, ensuring financial compliance and cost-effectiveness.
Identify and resolve issues that may impact project delivery, maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ensure alignment of project goals with organizational objectives and priorities.
Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements
PMP Certification is required, demonstrating expertise in project management practices.
Proven experience managing IT projects, particularly within educational or university settings.
Strong background in overseeing cloud ERP implementations, such as Workday.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage complex schedules and competing priorities.
Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaboration.
Experience in facilities, construction, or campus planning projects is preferred.
Ability to manage budgets and ensure financial accountability throughout project lifecycles.
