Description
We are looking for a skilled Deployment Engineer to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation, testing, and maintenance of software systems. This opportunity requires a candidate with technical expertise, a commitment to quality, and a willingness to grow professionally.
Responsibilities:
Develop detailed functional requirements, technical specifications, and manuals to support software system design and deployment.
Create and maintain installation guides, user documentation, and technical diagrams to ensure smooth deployment processes.
Plan and coordinate deployment activities, including scheduling, cost estimation, and resource allocation.
Define technical specifications for deployment, such as hardware and software requirements.
Conduct integration testing, identify bugs, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
Provide training sessions and technical support to end-users and support teams.
Perform risk analysis and implement mitigation strategies to address potential deployment challenges.
Maintain accurate and regular reports on deployment progress and activities for stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and testing.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards during deployment and testing phases.
Requirements
Proficiency in scripting tools and languages, including Oracle scripting and C#.
Hands-on experience with Windows-based operating systems and Oracle databases.
Familiarity with deployment tools and application deployment processes.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Server environments.
Ability to create technical documentation, diagrams, and user manuals.
Experience in QA testing and resolving bugs during integration.
Capacity to work independently, meet commitments, and adapt to new challenges.
Willingness to learn additional languages, such as French, to support project needs.
