Job Description
You will be the Software Engineer Senior - Test Automation for the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) which is responsible for delivering advanced avionics test solutions for the F-16 and FA-50 programs.

You are a collaborative, detail-oriented engineer with a strong foundation in both software and systems engineering. You bring hands-on experience with avionics testing and a proven ability to develop robust automated solutions. Your communication skills enable you to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams, and your proactive mindset drives continuous improvement in test processes.

The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar STEM discipline
Software development experience
Proficient with Python
Experience using GIT
Desired skills
Experience developing automation scripts
Experience standing up and implementing new software tools including automation frameworks
Fighter aircraft avionics experience including but not limited to A-G weapons, UAI, A-A weapons, sensors/pods, communication systems, navigation system, etc.
Proficient in VBA, C#, and/or SQL
Understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) model development and integration including experience using generative AI
Experience operating in an agile environment
Proficient in data analysis, problem identification/isolation, and troubleshooting
Understanding of the systems engineering process
Experience with testing of avionics software and hardware
Experience creating digital visualizations of metrics with Tableau, MS Power Apps, Excel, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Physically able to access aircraft cockpit test fixtures and conduct lab testing for typical 6-hour test shifts.
Must be willing and able to conform with flight line dress code and FOD requirements.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using TWIN and Python for F-16 and FA-50 avionics systems.
- Build and enhance software tools/macros that streamline system-level testing.
- Write requirements and design specifications for new test-automation tools.
- Coordinate with the automated test environment team to execute test pipelines and analyze results.
- Support non-automation tasks such as lab testing, procedure development, and budget estimation across multiple avionics domains.
