Job Role : POS Certification Engineer
Location : Atlanta, GA (Day 1 Onsite)
Mode of interview : Skype, Video/Telephonic
Job Roles/Responsibilities:
- Lead certification processes for POS systems with standards like EMVCo and PCI-PTS.
- Develop and execute certification test plans covering chip, contactless, and terminal security.
- Coordinate and execute POS device and application certification processes with card networks, processors, and acquirers.
- Serve as liaison among R&D, QA, labs, PCI SSC auditors, and payment networks.
- Triage and resolve issues during certification perform root-cause analysis and drive fixes.
- Maintain all certificates, test reports, documentation, and compliance evidence.
- Update certification scripts and configurations as POS standards evolve.
- Support internal pre-certification reviews and readiness audits.
- Stay abreast of emerging regulations and network mandates impacting POS certification.
Must-Have:
- 2 5 years experience in POS/payment device certification or compliance testing.
- Proficiency in EMV (contact/contactless), PCI-PTS, ISO8583, and terminal security protocols.
- Familiarity with payment networks.
- Experience interfacing with third-party testing labs and certification bodies.
