Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer with expertise in SaaS environments, to join our cybersecurity team, In this role you will be focused on securing enterprise SaaS environments and strengthening identity threat detection and response (ITDR) capabilities. This engineer will assist with drive tool integration, tuning, and operational remediation efforts to protect against identity-based threats and SaaS application risks. We are looking for those with a strong background in these areas to support and sometimes lead these security initiatives. Core Responsibilities:Integrate and tune CrowdStrike CSPM feeds, ensuring accurate threat telemetry and effective remediation.Preferred Skills & Experience: Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, identity providers (IdPs), and cloud risk models. Familiarity with SSPM tools (e.g., Reco, AppOmni, Adaptive Shield). Experience with ITDR platforms and concepts in hybrid or multi-cloud environments. Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, or similar) for automation. Strong knowledge of CrowdStrike, including CSPM configuration and tuning.

Core Responsibilities:
- Assist with the rollout and configuration of Reco for SaaS security posture management and identity visibility.
- Configure connectors to integrate SaaS and identity platforms with security tooling.
- Conduct Shadow IT discovery to identify and address unauthorized SaaS usage.
- Tune and optimize ITDR detections and alerts to reduce false positives and increase fidelity.
- Execute SSPM remediation activities based on control gaps and posture findings.
- Develop and implement ServiceNow playbooks for automated response workflows.
- Perform role rightsizing to align permissions with least-privilege access models.
- Create and maintain dashboards and runbooks to guide ongoing operations and escalations.
- 5+ years of experience in SaaS security engineering, ITDR, or identity security roles.
- Experience with end to end implementation experience of Reco (or equivalent SSPM/ITDR)
- Okta/AAD – identity graph ingestion & role mapping
- Experience integrating security tools with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow.
- Playbook creation
- Creation and maintenance of dashboards and runbooks
