Job Description:

Job Title: Sr. IT Project Manager- Modernization

Location: hybrid

Duration: full time, ongoing contract
Role Overview / Day-to-Day
  • Coordinate multiple project managers, vendors, and stakeholders for integrated ERP delivery
  • Manage parallel workstreams, master schedule, risks, and change control processes
  • Oversee documentation: system functionality, support procedures, workflows, permissions
  • Track vendor deliverables, validate quality, and ensure testing and defect resolution
  • Lead weekly status reporting, budget tracking, and meeting facilitation
  • Support user experience design, change management, and agency training readiness
Must Haves
  • 5+ years in IT project management or consulting
  • Proven experience with large-scale implementations and multi-vendor coordination
  • Strong communication, time management, and leadership abilities
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations across agencies
  • Mastery of project documentation practices (RAID logs, RACI matrices, etc.)
Nice to Have
  • Experience with State or Government projects
  • Exposure to digital portal and constituent-facing solution implementation
  • Project Management certification (e.g. PMP)
  • Familiarity with ERP system configuration and UAT oversight
