Site Manager - Two-Way Communications Systems

We're seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the installation, relocation, and decommissioning of digital and analog two-way communication systems used by first responders, municipalities, and commercial clients. This is a field-based leadership role that blends construction project oversight with technical system deployment. Think: command center meets job site.

? Heads up: This position requires overnight travel every week-up to 90%, often across multiple states in the South East US.

• Lead and manage on-site teams during system installs, upgrades, and decommissions
• Coordinate all site activity, including subcontractors and internal field resources
• Develop and maintain site plans, schedules, materials, and documentation
• Ensure work is completed on time, on budget, and up to spec-including quality and safety standards
• Serve as the primary on-site liaison for project managers, engineers, and customer stakeholders
• Perform on-site inspections, troubleshoot issues, and act as the go-to problem solver for logistical or technical hiccups
• Handle RF material logistics, site safety compliance, and status reporting
• Contribute to project forecasting, budgeting, staffing, and milestone planning
• Train, coach, and motivate field teams and subcontractors
• Jump in with your own two hands when needed-this is not a "desk only" job

• 5-10 years of experience managing installation projects-especially in communications, infrastructure, or similar technical fields
• Strong leadership skills and comfort directing diverse teams in high-stakes, fast-paced environments
• Background working with two-way radio systems, RF tech, or telecom equipment a strong plus
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience
• General Contractor Certification a plus
• Military, public safety, or mission-critical systems experience highly valued
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, installation standards, and schedules
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and site-specific compliance protocols
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable using hand tools and physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in active job sites

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Comfortable being away from home Monday-Friday, sometimes for 1-2 weeks at a time
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments
• Familiar with worksite documentation, safety protocols, and reporting
