Job Title: Oracle Fusion Test Lead (QA Guru/Strategist/Business Liaison & Testing Lead)
Locations: Los Angeles, CA
Position Type: 3 days onsite
Job Description:
Resource to oversee quality assurance activities for our Oracle Fusion Implementation Program. The role involves defining test strategies, leading test planning and execution, managing defect tracking, and ensuring overall solution quality across Finance modules. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure alignment with business requirements, and drive end-to-end testing including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Test strategy & planning
    • Define and document the overall test strategy aligned to program phases working in close collaboration with PMO, GTO, GPO and Solution Architects
    • Testing approach for in-scope Cumulus platform (Oracle, OneStream, boundaries, etc.)
    • Coordinate with functional leads to identify cross-system test scenarios and end-to-end test flows
  • Test Governance & Coordination
    • Chair daily defect triage and test progress meetings during active cycles.
    • Align test activities with the program timeline, ensuring milestones are met
    • Coordinate test efforts across DT, OneStream, users, third party vendors
    • Partner with Enterprise App team to ensure test environments are available, configured, and refreshed on time
    • Coordinate with data conversion team on what data required for testing
  • Test case management
    • Oversee the creation, review, and approval of test scenarios and scripts
    • Ensure traceability from requirements test cases defects resolution
    • Ensure JIRA is updated for tracking & reporting
  • Defect management
    • Define defect severity criteria and prioritization rules
    • Ensure timely defect logging, root cause analysis, and resolution in coordination with technical teams.
    • Escalate blockers to the PMO when required
  • Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
    • Provide regular dashboards on test execution, defect trends, and coverage
    • Deliver readouts and highlight go/no-go risks related to testing
  • Qualifications
    • 15-20+ years of QA/Test Lead experience, preferable in Oracle Fusion projects
    • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Modules (RTR, OTC, PTP, PTC, EPM etc)
    • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
