Job Title: Loan and Portfolio Management - CDO Portfolio Administrator
Location: Houston, TX 77046 (Hybrid)
Duration: 06+ Months with the possibility of extension
Pay rate: $20.86-$22.86/hour. on W2
Work Mode: 2 days in-office (Thursday required, 1 optional day), remainder remote
Some overtime may be required
Job Summary:
This role supports the operations of Collateralized Debt Obligation (CDO) portfolios, which involve structured finance vehicles investing in syndicated loans, corporate bonds, and other forms of debt. The position involves trade settlement, cash flow management, data reconciliation, and portfolio reporting to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Settle bank loan and bond trades and manage cash investments as directed by Portfolio Managers
- Book and reconcile portfolio cash inflows/outflows accurately
- Track asset-level data including ratings, accruals, and classifications
- Provide timely and accurate daily reporting to internal stakeholders
- Assist in compiling data and reports for investor communications
- Collaborate with trade settlement team to maintain reporting timelines
- Ensure 100% data accuracy through diligent booking and reconciliation processes
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or familiarity with programming or scripting (e.g., VBA, Python)
- Financial modeling knowledge
- Exposure to Bloomberg terminal/data
Education:
- Bachelor s Degree preferred
- Associate Degree acceptable with relevant experience
