Location: Malvern, PA (Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Rate: $50/hr on W2

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Windows Endpoint Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management to join Vanguard s Infrastructure Engineering team. This role is pivotal in securing, stabilizing, and optimizing Windows-based endpoints across a hybrid workforce.

The ideal candidate will have a deep background in Windows endpoint engineering, Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), with the ability to design, implement, and support enterprise-scale endpoint solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and implement Intune-based endpoint solutions including configuration, policies, compliance, and app deployment.

  • Manage and optimize Windows 11, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Microsoft Endpoint Manager environments.

  • Provide expert-level support for complex endpoint-related issues across the enterprise.

  • Develop and maintain technical standards, documentation, and best practices for endpoint management.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated endpoint and device performance issues.

  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and business teams to align endpoint solutions with enterprise goals.

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Windows engineering / endpoint management.

  • Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune, Windows 11, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.

  • Experience with identity management and endpoint security tools.

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex endpoint issues and drive root cause analysis.

  • Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
