Location: Brookhaven, GA on site 4 days per week.
Compensation: $75K to $90K direct hire role. No contract or third party candidates please.

Job Description:
- The Application Developer works in accordance with company's software development lifecycle to design and develop both new applications and enhancements to existing applications according to business specifications.
- Primary responsibilities include production support fixes, software design and development, unit testing, and development of technical documentation.
- Additional responsibilities include performing system analysis, code modifications, and functional testing to troubleshoot application production issues.
- Key attributes of the Application Developer include technical proficiency in specific areas of the current company development technologies (Visual Studio, .Net (preferably C#), JavaScript including Angular 2+ or similar frameworks, HTML, OOP concepts, SQL), the ability to quickly master new technologies as needed, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a focus on delivering a high level of customer service.
- The Application Developer reports directly to the Director of Application Development.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the company's application portfolio, development tools, and development procedures.
- Design application solutions that fully implement business requirements.
- Develop high quality software code in accordance with established company standards and development guidelines.
- Produce technical documentation that accurately and thoroughly depicts the software design and code base.
- Perform adequate unit testing of development work. At a minimum, unit testing should ensure all requirements have been addressed, all basic functionality work, and errors are handled properly.
- Expeditiously troubleshoot application production issues
- Provide updates to the Director of Application Development and Project Managers on work in progress, work completed, work planned, and issues potentially impacting the on-time completion or quality level of work.
Skillset / Experience:
- Strong Foundation in Object Oriented Programming OOA/OOD/OOP
- Solid basic mastery of the .Net development stack inclusive of: C#/ASP.NET/SQL Server
- Good hands-on front-end skills: HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing .Net technologies
- A desire to continually improve development skills and learn new technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members and management
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited direct supervision.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to take a project from beginning to end with only high-level architectural and technology guidance from senior development resources
- A BS degree from a fully accredited institution is required.
- 1-5 years practical experience in .Net web-enabled development (internship/co-op/paid employment) is preferred.
