Role: Business System Analyst

Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Hybrid, locals only)

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Must have:

  • Heathcare BA with Facet medicare and medicaid
  • Billing, strong SQL, enrollment, PM exp, safe agile
  • Facets application
  • Medicare/Medicaid membership and billing modules
  • SQL server
  • Member enrollment process flows

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Product Owners to understand business requirements; lead design and technical discussions with architects and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain the Program Increment (PI) feature list in alignment with business priorities.
  • Translate high-level epics into actionable user stories for development teams.
  • Define application scope, objectives, and prepare technical/functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure testing is thorough, complete, and aligned with requirements.
  • Support teams in resolving high-priority issues efficiently.
  • Perform product demonstrations for stakeholders, highlighting features and sub-features.
  • Write and execute SQL queries for data analysis and validation.
  • Contribute to discussions on user experience, design, and architecture within an Agile framework.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, working across business and technical stakeholders in multi-platform environments.
  • 3+ years of experience with Facets application.
  • 3+ years of expertise in Medicare/Medicaid membership and billing modules.
  • Strong understanding of SQL Server, including batch jobs and front-end screens in Medicare enrollment/member maintenance.
  • Proven ability to break down epics into stories effectively for agile development teams.
  • Familiarity with member enrollment process flows in healthcare systems.
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction, reporting, and analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, proactive problem-solving, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with SAFe Agile methodology is a plus.

 

Tools & Technologies:

  • Azure DevOps (ADO) and related agile project management tools.
  • SQL Server and related query/analysis tools.
