Summary
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our growing team. This role will oversee all aspects of tax and unclaimed property compliance, ensuring organizational adherence to regulatory and ethical standards.


Responsibilities

  • Lead tax and unclaimed property audits, including preparation, document review, and representation during discussions with auditors

  • Oversee unclaimed property matters such as audit defense, voluntary compliance, annual filings, and internal consulting

  • Develop and implement compliance-related policies and procedures across the organization

  • Review and improve existing compliance processes

  • Analyze and maintain tax and unclaimed property reserves

  • Monitor risk-based tax programs and ensure regulatory compliance

  • Conduct internal investigations related to compliance concerns and consult with legal counsel as needed

  • Stay informed on industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices to assess impact on internal operations


Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent required

  • Minimum of 5 6 years of relevant experience in tax audit and/or unclaimed property compliance


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in both public accounting and industry settings

  • CPA license
