IT Help Desk Support



Location: Natick, MA (100% onsite)

Duration: Contract to Hire



Description:

We are seeking a reliable and resourceful IT Help Desk Technician to support our growing team. This individual will be critical in setting up and supporting new hires with IT equipment, maintaining smooth day-to-day operations for all employees, and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues across the organization.



Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for all internal IT support requests (hardware, software, network, access, etc.).

Set up workstations, laptops, and accounts for new hires and ensure equipment is fully operational on day one.

Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software for staff.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows, Microsoft Office, email, VPN, printers, and other IT systems.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access within Active Directory and other systems.

Maintain accurate documentation of systems, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

Work closely with the IT Manager to support ongoing infrastructure and security initiatives.



Qualifications

Minimum 1-3 years of IT support or help desk experience, preferably in a professional or technical environment.

Strong working knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, basic networking, and endpoint security.

Experience with account setup, imaging, and hardware troubleshooting.

Excellent communication skills and a strong customer-service mindset.

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.



Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and basic scripting or automation.
