Sr. Manager, Business Applications and IT

The client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Sr. Manager, Business Applications and IT to lead and oversee all internal business systems, enterprise applications, and related IT infrastructure. This individual will manage a cross-functional team and serve as the sole owner of internal software platforms such as D365, Power BI, PartTrap (eCommerce), Lean (ERP), and Business Central. The role involves driving application strategy, process optimization, vendor management, training, and project delivery to enhance business operations and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team comprising IT staff, developers, process specialists, and system administrators.
• Act as primary owner and administrator for company-wide business applications supporting 85+ internal users.
• Oversee application platforms including D365, Power BI, PartTrap, Lean ERP, Business Central, and various productivity tools.
• Collaborate with global counterparts to align technology strategy with corporate goals and compliance requirements.
• Manage strategic multi-year system migrations, integrations, and cost-saving initiatives (e.g., $1.2M annual savings project).
• Oversee project management through Jira for application development, issue resolution, and team performance tracking.
• Drive vendor management, including contract negotiations, budgeting (approx. $350K annually), and external development.
• Optimize internal processes (e.g., commission automation, workflow efficiency) to improve business outcomes.
• Conduct training programs for internal and external stakeholders on ERP, CRM, and eCommerce platforms.
• Maintain and improve application data integrity and reporting through dashboards, system audits, and end-user support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Economics, Business, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in IT, business applications, or enterprise systems within a mid-to-large organization.
• Proven experience with platforms such as Salesforce (Admin & Advanced Admin Certified), Xactly, D365, and ERP systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing enterprise-wide application projects.
• Strong analytical, project management, and vendor negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated success in optimizing workflows, enhancing automation, and improving operational efficiency.
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) and process automation platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry.
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and integrations (e.g., PartTrap).
• Working knowledge of Jira, Salesforce Flow, and Lean manufacturing systems.

Salary: $125,000- $130,000 per year ( depends on experience level)
