Position: SAP Security Architect
Location: Raritan, NJ
About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned Lead SAP Security Architect with deep expertise in SAP security administration and architecture across diverse modules, especially within S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing secure SAP landscapes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory mandates, and organizational policies. This role demands strategic thinking, hands-on technical capabilities, and the ability to guide stakeholders on access controls, authorization frameworks, and segregation of duties (SoD).
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deploy end-to-end SAP security frameworks aligned with best practices and compliance standards.
Serve as the SME for SAP security, offering guidance on access controls, role management, SoD, and authorization strategies.
Manage user access and role provisioning/de-provisioning across SAP systems.
Proactively troubleshoot and resolve security issues; conduct audits and ensure compliance.
Deliver security support across all phases of SAP projects from planning to post-go-live.
Build and maintain persona-based security roles for Fiori applications.
Demonstrate hands-on expertise with tools and components including Fiori Launchpad Designer, catalogs, groups, pages, Web Dynpro, UI5 apps, PFCG roles, OData, ICF Services, and Fiori Apps Library.
Engage directly with clients, understand their business processes, and collaborate with project teams for effective solution delivery.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 10 years of SAP Security experience with architectural and administrative responsibilities.
Extensive module experience including EWM, WM, MM, FI, SD, and Ariba.
At least two full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
Advanced knowledge of SAP role design, user administration, and SoD principles.
Strong troubleshooting skills and experience conducting SAP security audits.
In-depth knowledge of Fiori app security and related components.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) solutions.
SAP Security certifications or equivalent credentials.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
