We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team, focusing on the design and implementation of IT business solutions. This role is pivotal in delivering automated testing services that support our IT objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Automated Testing Development: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web UI, mobile, API, and backend systems using Java and keyword-based frameworks.
- Tool Utilization: Utilize provided tools to create and execute automated tests.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure test cases align with development standards, manage code in version control systems, and conduct code reviews.
- Traceability and Reporting: Generate traceability matrices and reports to ensure compliance with software development standards.
- Defect Management: Collaborate with technical and business teams to resolve issues and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Testing Solutions Design: Design system integration, regression, and UAT testing solutions based on business requirements.
- Tool Recommendations: Suggest automation tools to minimize defects and enhance application stability.
- Collaboration: Participate in face-to-face meetings and collaborate with colleagues and contractors as needed.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3+ years in a Software/QA Engineer role or similar.
- 3+ years translating business requirements into test requirements.
- 3+ years designing and developing automation test suites for UI and APIs.
- 2+ years with automated testing tools (e.g., TestComplete, BitBar, Selenium).
- Experience with web, mobile, and API testing technologies.
- Familiarity with source control tools (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, CodeDeploy, Jenkins).
- Mindset: Strong focus on automation.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in analysis and design techniques.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Effective in complex problem-solving scenarios.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
- Independence: Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects.
