Location: Dallas, TX Remote

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 6 months of contract

Must Have: BI Development, AWS QuickSight, Power BI, PowerApps, Grafana, SQL, front-end development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS), data governance, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) / energy sector analytics.

Summary:

• As a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across Client's business units. You will design, develop and document advanced BI solutions using tools such as AWS QuickSight, Power Bi and PowerApps. Your work will directly support our mission to lead the zero-carbon transition by enabling data-driven decisions across our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, deploy and document interactive dashboards and reports using AWS QuickSight, Power BI and Grafana.
• Design, develop, deploy and document custom applications and workflows using PowerApps to streamline business processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver insights that drive operational efficiency and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain data models, ETL pipelines and data visualizations to support business intelligence initiatives.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all BI platforms.
• Provide technical expertise and support for BI tools, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Contribute to the development of front-end interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS (a plus).
• Support initiatives related to Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) by delivering relevant analytics and reporting solutions. Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in BI development or data analytics roles.
• Advanced proficiency in AWS QuickSight, Power BI, PowerApps, and Grafana.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases and data warehouses.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred:
• Experience with front-end development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Familiarity with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or energy sector analytics.
• Experience with AWS-based data platforms.
