Job Details

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Release Manager to support a leading client in the transportation industry. This is a remote opportunity available only to candidates located in the Eastern, Central, or Mountain time zones.

As an IT Release Manager, you will coordinate and execute application and infrastructure releases across a large suite of cloud-based and on-prem systems. The role demands a proactive communicator who can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage multiple releases per week across various platforms.

  • Schedule and oversee after-hours production releases (approximately 25% of total time).

  • Collaborate with application and platform teams to ensure timely and successful deployments.

  • Use AWS (99%) and limited on-prem (1-2%) to support blue/green deployments and load balancing.

  • Utilize Jenkins to execute automated pipelines.

  • Work within a team of ~25 professionals, fostering strong team communication and dynamics.

  • Support 50+ products and platform releases as part of the Cloud Office / DevOps and Production Support team.

  • Occasional involvement in project management tasks (10-20%).


Required Skills:

  • 1 5 years of total IT experience (please do not apply if you exceed 5 years).

  • Hands-on experience with release scheduling and coordination.

  • Working knowledge of AWS, especially:

    • Blue/Green deployments

    • Load balancing

  • Basic experience with Jenkins for production release pipelines.

  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Excel.

  • (ServiceNow is a plus but not required.)
