Job Details
Daily activities will include, but are not limited to: Responsible for the design, development and deployment of multi-dimensional reports using the Cognos Business Intelligence suite of products Provides analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of Business Intelligence, Ad-hoc and Operational Reporting. Maintains and curates a central repository of enterprise Business Intelligence assets including dashboards, visualization and interactive reports. Monitor daily reports that identify data inconsistencies, determine the resolution and revise the incorrect operational data. Enables capabilities available in the Business Intelligence technology such as drill-through functionality, KPI and scorecard reporting, advanced visualizations including mapping and geospatial analysis, predictive analytics, and other capabilities as they arise. Communicate and coordinate with members of the development team to work across multiple projects. Explore, actively support and work on new technology initiatives that may be of interest to the organization. Actively participate in troubleshooting any technical issues that the program may have. Additional Skills & Qualifications
1. Seven years or more of hands-on experience writing complex SQL for querying and development of reports and data analytics.
2. Seven years or more of demonstrated hands-on experience with PL/SQL writing packages, stored procedures and triggers.
3. Five years or more of demonstrated hands-on experience developing data models, data mappings, data migrations and assisting in data warehouse design in Oracle environment for Cognos.
4. Five years of demonstrated hands-on experience with design & development of Cognos cubes for analytical reporting.
5. Seven years or more experience of Oracle architecture and database design.
6. Seven years or more experience working with different databases structure for OLTP, OLAP & high-volume transaction systems.
7. Seven years or more experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
8. Seven years or more experience with business reporting of IES programs like SNAP, HEAP, MEDICAID, PA, TANF.
9. Two years or more experience with Google Big Query.
10. Seven years or more experience with Health & Human services applications.

Work Environment
Working on-site in Albany plus 50% remote. 50% remote (5 days remote in a 10 day cycle, so 2 days one week and then 3 days the next), but they have to show up for their first day onsite
