Overview

Seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Enterprise Technology Analyst to support the Customer and AMI Technologies team. This role focuses on enhancements, incident response, and project support to ensure seamless operations during the S/4HANA project implementation. The position is hybrid, with on-site work required once per week in Sacramento, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational support for ServiceNow incidents within Customer and AMI Technologies.
• Manage enhancement requests and project tasks aligned with SAP functional expertise.
• Respond quickly to incidents to prevent delays in the S/4HANA project.
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth handoffs and clear communication.
• Support testing, documentation, and resolution efforts for complex SAP integrations.
• Maintain continued progress on ongoing Customer and AMI Technology initiatives.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience designing and configuring complex SAP solutions within the past ten (10) years.
• Minimum three (3) years of SAP ECC 6.0 experience with EHP7 or higher.
• Minimum one (1) year of SAP CRM 7.0 experience with EHP3 or higher.
• Proven IS-U CR&B expertise, including one or more of the following areas:
• Customer Service
• Device Management (including smart meters and/or Itron Networks UIQ stack)
• Rates and Pricing
• Billing and Invoicing
• Bill Print
• Workflows
• FI-CA
• Experience working with master data components and the business partner lifecycle.
• Minimum two (2) years performing end-to-end functional, technical, and regression testing of complex solutions (including external integrations).
• Proficiency using ServiceNow, JIRA, or other defect-tracking applications.
• Experience participating in business requirement reviews and blueprint sessions.
• Skilled in translating business requirements into detailed specifications.
• Collaboration experience with ABAP development teams for functional specification refinement.
• Ability to create process flow diagrams and other system documentation.
• Proficiency in debugging custom code and working independently to support project teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex technical information clearly.

Desirable Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience leading business requirement reviews and blueprint sessions.
• Familiarity with agile environments and methodologies.
• Experience configuring IS-U rates, rate categories, and billing schemas.
• Prior electric utility industry experience supporting:
• SAP S/4HANA
• SAP CX Suite (Customer Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud)
• OpenText Document Presentment
• Itron MDMS IEE 10.3+ or MDISAIM EhP7+

Additional Information

• Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Work hours: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (Pacific Time).
• Must have own laptop for both remote and on-site work.
