Position title: Microsoft Cloud Security Engineer
Location: Columbus OH 43215
Duration: 10-12 Months

Role & Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a secure M365 environment.
- Deploy Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) and other Microsoft 365 security solutions.
- Support the integration of Microsoft 365 with other business applications.
- Stay up to date with the latest Entra ID, Intune, Defender, and Microsoft 365 features, updates, and best practices.
- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, including data loss prevention (DLP) and access control.
- Ensure Microsoft 365 services and endpoints are up to date with the latest patches and security.
- Intune management and configuration of policies to protect company workstations and mobile devices, as well as deploy software and secure access to company resources and data.
- Manage Entra ID security controls and compliance requirements.
- Configure advanced threat protection policies, conduct threat analysis, and respond to security incidents.
- Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and reports to ensure effective threat detection and prevention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity or related field and/or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in utilizing enterprise security solutions including but not limited to SIEM, security detection and response tools, and endpoint security products.
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft cloud security solutions and services such as Microsoft Defender for Office
- 365, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Identity, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel.
- Experience with migration of third-party email security applications (Proofpoint, Mimecast, Cisco Secure Email, and Forcepoint).
- Familiarity with email security best practices, advanced threat protections, and email authentication methods (preferred).
- Relevant certifications ( CISSP, CISA, CISM, Security +, or similar certification).

- 3 days onsite, 2 days remote work
- 1st round interview virtual
- 2nd round interview will be In-person
- 40 hours/week, 8 hours/day
