Job Title: Windows/Citrix Administrator
Location: Lincoln, NE (Fully Onsite)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Windows/Citrix Administrator to join our dynamic Application Operations (AppOps) team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and supporting our Citrix and Windows-based infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance of business-critical applications

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), including provisioning, patching, and performance tuning.
  • Manage Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022), including Active Directory, Group Policy.
  • Collaborate with AppOps, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to support application deployments and troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain and improve automation scripts and tools for system management and deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response activities.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Citrix infrastructure, including StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, Director, and Citrix Gateway.
  • Manage user profiles and policies using WEM, and Group Policy.
  • Implement and support Citrix WEM for user environment optimization and performance tuning.
  • Manage Citrix PVS farms for efficient desktop and server provisioning

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Windows Server administration.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SCOM, Citrix Director, ControlUp).
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and change management processes.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V) or higher.
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
  • Experience with AppOps or DevOps environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments.
  • Exposure to application performance monitoring (APM) tools.
