Job Details
Title: Contracts Coordinator
Duration: Direct Hire
Location: Southern California
Type: Benefits offered (Medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc.)
Responsibilities:
- Communicating with client regarding changes to contracts agreements and change orders for various client projects.
- Drafts and maintains change orders.
- Works directly with vendor / subcontractor to validate and document changes or adjustments to agreements by coordinating and submitting change order letters, creating drafts and updating changes to pricing, budgets, resources, material, etc.
- Submit change order to client for approval.
- Research, gather and review supporting documents pertaining to all change orders
- Ensure backup documentation is accurate and collected.
- Work with the internal teams including: Finance, Estimating team, Project Management, and Project Controllers for cost management, budget updates, pricing, calculate cost impacts, etc.
- Update and monitor contracts database, documentation, legal files, drafting customer's contracts and agreements working with both client/customer and vendor/subcontractors.
- Reviews all documents, including but not limited to Service Agreements, Subcontracts, Confidentiality Agreements, Outsourcing Contracts, Equipment Lease Agreements, Rental Agreements submitted by customers, and vendors, etc.
- Supports Project Management and Project Controls teams in project maintenance and execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
- 2+ years of experience working with and reviewing agreements such as: Master Service Agreements, Subcontracts, Confidentiality Agreements, Outsourcing Agreements, Equipment Leases / Equipment Agreements, other vendor or 3rd party agreements, etc.
- 2+ years of experience with creating change orders, working with legal files, coordinating subcontractor change orders, drafts, collect and maintain documentation, submit change orders to customers.
- 2+ years contract negotiation and drafting experience preferred.
- Paralegal Certificate highly preferred.
