We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Civil Engineer/Project Manager to join our thriving Engineering industry team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to further their career in a supportive environment that emphasizes growth and professional development. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of residential and commercial projects, utilizing their extensive project management skills and professional engineering license.
Responsibilities:
As a Civil Engineer/Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of engineering projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of residential and commercial engineering projects.
2. Utilizing AutoCAD and Civil 3D for site design and planning.
3. Coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to ensure the successful completion of projects.
4. Providing technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers and other team members.
5. Ensuring all engineering projects comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
6. Conducting site inspections and preparing detailed reports.
7. Managing project budgets and timelines, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
8. Continuously improving project management processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Civil Engineer/Project Manager role will have the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
2. A Professional Engineering (PE) license.
3. A minimum of 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on residential and commercial projects.
4. Proven experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
6. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
8. A keen eye for detail, with the ability to ensure the highest levels of quality and accuracy in all projects.
9. Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in the engineering industry.
