Job Details

Agile Delivery Lead (Scrum Master / Business Analyst Hybrid)

SUMMARY
Seeking an organized, easygoing, and adaptable Agile Delivery Lead to support three highly technical, Kanban-based development teams. This hybrid role combines the servant leadership responsibilities of a Scrum Master with the critical thinking and analysis skills of a Business Analyst. The ideal candidate will be comfortable flexing between Agile and traditional delivery techniques, collaborating across teams, and working without strict Agile orthodoxy.
In this role, you will facilitate Agile ceremonies, coordinate quarterly planning with dependent teams, and serve as a liaison between technical teams and stakeholders. You will also help interpret business needs, clarify requirements, and track ongoing priorities, especially in domains such as risk management, fraud prevention, and machine learning initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Agile Facilitation & Team Support
  • Guide teams in Agile best practices (primarily Kanban, some Scrum), adapting based on team maturity and needs
  • Facilitate team ceremonies such as stand-ups, retrospectives, and planning sessions
  • Remove impediments, shield the team from distractions, and promote focus and continuous improvement
  • Help the teams define goals and deliverables in the absence of formal Product Owners
Business Analysis & Planning
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements
  • Help translate business needs into actionable work items and backlog entries
  • Support roadmap alignment and quarterly planning across teams and dependencies
  • Document business rules, technical logic, and acceptance criteria in partnership with technical leads
Coordination & Communication
  • Track decisions, action items, and risks across teams and initiatives
  • Maintain visibility into work progress through JIRA dashboards and reports
  • Foster transparent communication with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners
  • Provide context and framing for initiatives related to fraud detection, risk modeling, or machine learning when needed

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator, capable of articulating complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently, influence others without authority, and support teams with empathy
  • Exposure to Agile delivery in domains such as Risk, Compliance, Fraud Prevention, or Machine Learning
  • Comfort in hybrid environments blending Agile with traditional project management disciplines

PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or similar certification
  • Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr, RTC)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Previous experience working with technical teams without direct business product ownership

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile environments supporting software or technical product delivery
  • Experience facilitating and documenting team discussions and managing competing priorities

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
  • Calm under pressure and highly collaborative
  • Flexible and pragmatic—not an Agile purist
  • Passionate about enabling teams to succeed
  • Willing to step into gaps to clarify scope or help drive delivery forward
