You believe in best practices, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality solutions that advance both the product and the broader mission of the organization.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Leading planning, architecture, and research efforts at the product level to drive STK's mission modeling capabilities forward.
  • Coordinating product design and development activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and customer needs.
  • Acting as a technical reference for the team, providing mentorship and guidance on communications and radar systems modeling.
  • Supporting on-site requirements gathering and refinement with strategic customers to ensure solutions are tailored and impactful.
  • Developing and enforcing best practices through technical reviews, code quality assessments, and active mentoring.
  • Performing complex bug verification and release testing, collaborating with QA and support teams to resolve challenging issues.
  • Translating marketing and business requirements into technical solutions, staying attuned to target environments, performance criteria, and competitive landscape.
  • Operating with autonomy, proactively identifying opportunities for product enhancement and process improvement.

The Impact You Will Have:
  • Advance the capabilities of STK, a mission modeling software trusted by global leaders across industries and government agencies.
  • Empower customers to solve complex problems in communications, radar, and mission analysis-enabling everything from comm link coverage evaluation to lunar navigation.
  • Set technical standards and best practices that elevate the quality, reliability, and scalability of our software products.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and technical excellence.
  • Strengthen customer relationships through direct engagement, requirements gathering, and tailored solutions.
  • Drive innovation in digital signal processing, spectrum management, and mission modeling, solidifying Synopsys' position as an industry leader.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, enhancing efficiency and product delivery timelines.

What You'll Need:
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 8 years' experience; MS with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years (preferred).
  • Significant experience in the Communications and/or Radar domain, with a proven record of impactful contributions.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and/or C# application development, with experience building large-scale commercial software.
  • Expertise in Visual Studio and associated development tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft robust, efficient, and maintainable code for mission-critical applications.
  • Experience with digital signal processing and spectrum management is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with tools such as GnuRadio, Simulink, and/or SystemVue.
  • Track record of leading projects and delivering high-quality products in a collaborative environment.

Who You Are:
  • Innovative thinker with a problem-solving mindset and a drive for excellence.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate across teams and geographies.
  • Self-motivated and able to operate independently, taking initiative to identify and solve complex challenges.
  • Mentor and leader, passionate about sharing knowledge and fostering team growth.
  • Flexible and resilient, able to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Committed to continuous learning and staying current with advancements in your field.

The Team You'll Be A Part Of:
