For this contractor assignment, as an IT Project Portfolio Analyst Lead on the EPMO CRM Services team, you'll work with a group that supports the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) organization. In this role, you'll provide project initiation estimating services for CRM Business and IT portfolios that are delivering IT solutions. The Primary role for this position is in the job family of a Project Portfolio Analyst (PPA) as an Estimating Analyst, with a secondary focus and technical Initiation Center of Excellence (ICOE) workflow support and CLCC/ERPMO reporting. In the PPA role you will work closely with Business and IT partners to define project scope / deliverables, optimize project forecasts, and facilitate approval of rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimate leveraging in-house tools & techniques to ensure that the project data sets proper expectations for portfolio and governance investment decisions. In the role supporting of ICOE and reporting responsibilities you will retrieve, compile, and prepare reports, graphs, and charts using ERPMO data to review forecasts and analyze trends.

responsibilities:
- Works closely with Business and IT partners to define project scope and deliverables, gathers inputs into the process, and optimizes project forecasts.
- Facilitates the rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimate process leveraging in-house tools & techniques.
- Develops project estimates for governance approval to ensure that the project data sets proper expectations for portfolio and governance investment decisions.
- Uses business and data analysis techniques from completed projects to aid in the Initiation approval process.
- Provides program and portfolio planning support.
- Uses critical thinking to solve problems.??
qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years of related work experience in an IT analyst, IT project planning/scheduling role, or some combination of the two.
- {OR} Bachelor's Degree or higher in a business or IT discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Business Management) and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience in an IT analyst, IT project planning/scheduling role, or some combination of the two.
skills: Required skills:
- Portfolio Management and/or PMO experience
- Working knowledge of project estimation practices
- Analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to investigate, assess and recommend solutions.
Preferred skills and experiences:
- Experience with utilization of the SLIM estimating tool
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
- Experience with Planview Portfolios
