Job Details
Job Title: Database Administrator
Location: Austin, TX (Telework with occasional onsite requirements)
Interview: WebCam/In-person
U.S. Citizenship needed
Certification Required:
- Claris FileMaker Certified Developer (FMCE) validates expertise in FileMaker solutions.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (useful for cloud/database migration knowledge).
- Oracle or SQL DBA Certification (optional, adds credibility in database administration).
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (for cybersecurity awareness and compliance).
Job Description:
- Recover administrative-level access to the Agency's FileMaker Server v13.
- Create new administrator credentials and secure backup copies of the on-premise FileMaker database.
- Design and configure a new FileMaker Cloud database mirroring the schema of the on-premise system.
- Transfer data from on-premise FileMaker Server to FileMaker Cloud.
- Conduct thorough data validation and verification (minimum 350 non-sequential records).
- Certify data integrity, functionality, and accuracy of migrated cloud database.
- Generate reports and provide documentation of the migration process.
- Adhere to agency security policies, confidentiality standards, and cybersecurity training requirements.
