JOB SUMMARY: The Emergency Management and Business Continuity Contractor will play a crucial role in advancing client's emergency preparedness, response, and recovery capabilities. This one-year position focuses on supporting the transition of the current emergency management and business continuity program to a higher level of operational efficiency. The contractor will collaborate with multiple departments to enhance organizational readiness through planning, exercises, documentation, and outreach initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing and updating emergency management and business continuity plans, procedures, and protocols. Support the coordination, execution, and evaluation of business continuity exercises and drills. Create and maintain accurate documentation related to emergency response and recovery activities. Analyze and document after-action reports following exercises and training sessions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of emergency management strategies across the organization. Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging trends in emergency management and business continuity. Projects: **Employee Outreach and Education:** Develop and implement programs to educate staff on emergency preparedness and response principles. **After-Action Reviews:** Facilitate post-incident and post-exercise reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future responses. **EOP and BCP Revisions:** Support the review, revision, and enhancement of Emergency Operations Plans (EOP) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) to align with current standards and best practices. Required Qualifications: 57 years of progressive experience in emergency management, business continuity, or disaster preparedness. Proven success in developing, implementing, and evaluating emergency management and business continuity strategies. Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and organizational leadership. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in emergency management, Business Continuity, Public Administration, or a related field. Education: Bachelors Degree
