Job title : High-end Receptionist
Location : Onsite; 777 Long Ridge Road, Stamford, CT 06902
Duration: 6 months; with possible extensions; possible FTE hire

Hours: M-F 8-5 ET; Flexibility on Fridays, unless needed for the day
MUST HAVE: Receptionist experience at a Fortune 200 company, high end hospitality or high end corporation/residency.
This person must exhibit a strong blend of interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills.
Also, looking for someone with excellent communication, professionalism, and ability to handle a variety of tasks while maintaining a calm and confident demeanor, often in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.


Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Operations:
o Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees with the utmost professionalism and warmth.
Ensure that all guests sign in and are aware of, and follow visitor protocols.
o Focus on delivering an elevated hospitality experience by providing a genuine, authentic yet professional interaction with everyone.

Phone & Email Management:
Answer and direct incoming calls in a courteous and efficient manner.
Monitor general email inboxes and respond appropriately or escalate inquiries.

Administrative Support:
o Provide general administrative support for facilities, mailroom, cultural center administration and operation, as deemed appropriate by those leaders.
o Be Proactive in nature. Anticipates the needs of our guests / clients and offers solutions or support without asking.

Office Coordination:
o Maintain a clean and organized reception area at all times. Coordinate with facilities team to ensure supplies, equipment, and refreshments are well-stocked.
o Will be Knowledgeable of the building and workplace to assist in questions relative to these areas.
o Manage and support with any requests for the booking platform and ensure all changes in seating assignments are accurate


Security & Compliance:
o Partner with the security team to ensure visitor badges are issued appropriately.
o Uphold confidentiality and adhere to company policies regarding sensitive information.
o Assist in Life Safety emergency procedures.

Collaboration:
o Serve as the first point of contact between departments, clients, and external visitors.
o Partner with internal teams to assist with special projects or initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience as a receptionist, front desk associate or office manager, ideally in a corporate/professional environment. Experience at a Fortune 200 company, high end hospitality or high end corporation/residency HIGHLY preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with office technology (multi-line phone systems, video conferencing tools, etc.).
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor. Demonstrated ability to address issues calmly and resolve matters efficiently.
Organization: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Interpersonal Skills: Warm, approachable, and customer-focused, with the ability to build positive relationships across a diverse range of individuals.
