Overview
This is a remote role that may only be hired in North Carolina.
We are seeking a d esigner with a strong focus on UI design to join our d esign s ystem team in the Enterprise Digital Design organization. This role will collaborate with designers, product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to cr eate strong enterprise design system solutions for all supported digital products, services, and channels. They will provide expert consultation on the creation of UI components to be integrated in the design system, as well as the digital experiences that utilize desi gn system components. They will participate in design and user research (including usability testing) as a Digital Design team member and be involved in the creation of documentation and guidelines of UI components to ensure usage is efficient and effective.

- li\">User Research - Ensures the success of design system deliverables across functions, services, and channel enhancements by testing li\">new designs li\"> prior to implementation. Writes and executes test briefs for design research. Uncovers valuable insights and acceptance through testing activities to drive data-driven decisions across the team.
- li\">Collaboration - Works closely with design team, development, and project teams and other stakeholders in the design and enhancement of the design system and the supported interactive experiences throughout the Bank. Participates in practice of critiques, governance, and reviews; receiving and giving honest feedback that helps elevate the designed experiences.

- Digital / UI Design skills including web design, motion, and experience with related tools (Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch)
- Experience working with design patterns and visual design systems including atomic desig n , design system of system s
- Understanding of m odern f ront-end development practices; HTML, CSS, JavaScript, semantic markup, Design Tokens, WCAG AA standards; Responsive Web Design
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with Content management systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful , Supernova)
- Experience working in agile project environments
- Experience working within financial services industry
