Job Overview:
The Release Manager is responsible for participating in telecommunications discovery and implementation initiatives within defined timeframes, including VoIP discovery efforts, branch deployments, special voice services projects, and consolidations. This position gathers and defines business requirements, conducts solution design reviews, and collaborates with Business Continuity to facilitate IT Voice Services discovery efforts. The role involves analyzing and evaluating telecommunications systems, networks, and data, providing business analysis and recommendations, and offering technical support for associated voice services applications. The Release Manager 1 will also interface with Operations personnel, external vendors, and local telecom carriers.

Responsibilities:
  • Organize assigned activities across telecommunications applications, teams, and projects; manage dependencies within the scope of assigned telecommunications release components.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure execution of release adheres to the plan and timeline.
  • Maintain release documentation and archives; stay informed about future IT telecommunications maintenance activities.
  • Practice adherence to the organization's release and change management processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Complete assigned projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines with minimal management involvement.
  • Collaborate with vendors and/or customers throughout the execution of tasks and activities.
  • Conduct and participate in discovery efforts to uncover location voice services designs.
  • Perform analytical, technical, and administrative support in the planning, designing, testing, and implementation of telecommunication projects.
  • Monitor voice solution performance and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Analyze telecom usage and expenses to identify cost savings opportunities.
  • Provide telephony solution documentation to end users and assist with training.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in telecommunication systems, contact centers, or IVR.
  • Experience with technology services or system installation with vendor training.
  • Knowledge of computer/telephony integration (VoIP), disaster recovery development, and telephony-related products.


Pay Range: $30 - $45

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
