Job Title: Release Train Engineer (RTE) Cloud Platform

Location: Alpharetta, GA / Berkeley Heights, NJ (Onsite 5 days, M-F)
Type: Full Time/W2 with Infinite Computer Solutions

Position Summary:

The Release Train Engineer (RTE) will act as an Agile coach for the Cloud Product Team, facilitating Agile Release Trains (ARTs) that span across Cloud Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Platform Engineering. This role plays a vital part in enabling enterprise modernization and secure cloud operations by ensuring alignment, collaboration, and high-quality delivery.

Required Skillsets:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Agile delivery, including 3+ years as an RTE or Agile Program Manager.
  • SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Proven experience working in large-scale Agile programs within cloud-native, DevSecOps, or platform infrastructure environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools like Jira Align, Azure DevOps, Rally, or equivalent.
  • Exceptional facilitation, coaching, conflict resolution, and leadership abilities.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and multi-cloud architectures.
  • Background in infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps tooling (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins).
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as SOC2, NIST, or ISO 27001.
  • Experience working with Cybersecurity and Platform Engineering in a regulated industry.
  • Exposure to value stream management and Lean Portfolio Management.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Execution & Planning

  • Lead and facilitate Program Increment (PI) planning, ART syncs, and system demos.
  • Manage the flow of value through ARTs using tools such as Jira Align and Azure DevOps.
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies, enabling timely feature delivery across engineering, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams.

Agile Coaching & Leadership

  • Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile teams on SAFe and Lean-Agile principles.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and transparency.
  • Support Agile maturity assessments and promote the adoption of best practices across teams.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Cybersecurity, and Engineering teams to align delivery with business priorities.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for ART-level risks and impediments.
  • Facilitate effective communication across distributed teams and executive stakeholders.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain and visualize the shared program backlog across Cloud, Cyber, and Platform engineering.
  • Track and report on key ART metrics (e.g., velocity, predictability, quality, release readiness).
  • Ensure delivery practices support audit, compliance, and operational readiness requirements.
