Job Title: Collibra-Data Governance Analyst
Location: New York City, NY (3 - 5 days onsite/week)
Duration: FTE.
Experience Level: 10 - 12+ years.
Job Description:
8 years of experience in data governance data management or related fields
5 years of hands on experience implementing and managing Collibra is mandatory
Proven experience with data governance frameworks eg DAMA DCAM
Hands on experience in implementing managing and optimizing Collibra based data governance solutions
Experience with data quality rules metrics and monitoring
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure data quality
Strong knowledge of metadata and reference data management data lineage and workflow automation
Excellent communication skills able to explain data governance concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences
Self driven organized and pragmatic able to work independently or in a team environment
Experience in finance banking or regulated industries is a plus
Collibra certification eg Collibra Ranger is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities
Collibra Implementation Support
Act as the subject matter expert SME for Collibra leading deployment and ongoing management
Collaborate with Collibra Professional Services and internal teams to define and structure data domains catalogs reference data and business glossaries
Design and implement data lineage and metadata workflows
Onboard and train data stewards and business users on Collibra functionalities
Ensure strategic alignment between Collibra implementation and internal data governance objectives
Data Governance Quality
Define and enforce governance roles and responsibilities eg data owner data steward
Implement and monitor data quality frameworks including rule definition and KPI tracking
Support issue resolution workflows policy enforcement and cross functional governance coordination
Maintain documentation for data management initiatives including metadata data lineage and governance artifacts
Stakeholder Engagement
Work directly with key stakeholders including business and IT leaders to drive adoption and maturity of data governance practices
Provide expert consultation and training to ensure effective use of Collibra and adherence to governance standards
Continuous Improvement
Develop and implement frameworks and best practices for Collibra based data governance solutions
Support regulatory compliance through robust data management practices
