Required (Basic) Quali?cations:

Bachelor s degree in engineering from an accredited institution required.

Minimum ?ve (5) years of Mechanical and Project Engineering including design experience utilizing 3D CAD software in the aerospace, hydraulic, or vehicle industry environment OR Master's degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the aerospace, hydraulic, or vehicle industry

Minimum of two (2) years experience implementing hydraulic product design and testing in a plant environment. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future.

This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Tra?c in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR de?nes a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

No relocation bene?t is being o?ered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the Los Angeles, CA facility will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Quali?cations:

Bachelor s degree in mechanical or aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution

Master s degree in mechanical or aerospace Engineering from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited institution. Experience in the Aerospace Industry.

Experience with Pro/Engineer, Enovia PLM, or similar 3D design and lifecycle management software tools.

Experience with designing hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromechanical products using Advanced manufacturing techniques and transitioning to a production environment.

Ability to apply of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles and perform tolerance stack-up analyses. Ability to perform basic structural and/or performance analysis.

Working knowledge of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), Design for Manufacturability (dfM), Failure Modes and E?ects Analysis (FMEA), Design of Experiments (DOE), and Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) principles.
