Mindbank Consulting Group has interesting opportunities for experienced and cleared Computer Network Operations (CNO) Developers. These positions are direct hire and are fully onsite in Columbia, MD. Candidates for this role must have an active TS/SCI Full Scope Poly to be considered. Salary for five-year candidate up to ~155K; candidates with senior-level (10-year) experience and skills up to $275K; very appealing benefits package, too!

In this role, you will work in a dynamic environment with a team of Cyber Engineers in reverse engineering, vulnerability research, prototyping, design, development, integration, and test tasks to develop capabilities against various networking devices. This work will leverage your ability to deconstruct a variety of hardware and software, focusing on network devices and technologies, and developing capabilities to utilize the vulnerabilities discovered. In this job you will have an opportunity to work with a dynamic team of cyber researchers and engineers through all stages of the product lifecycle from vulnerability research to development and test.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform reverse engineering, vulnerability analysis, exploit dev, and capability dev in support of operations and capabilities directorates.
  • Be flexible, and learn the environment and use whatever skills, languages, techniques are required to meet mission needs.
  • Work hand in hand with the operators and analysts, and your capabilities will be used for high priority mission requirements.
  • Demonstrate the ability to reverse engineer code.
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding and/or implementation of Computer Network Exploitation and Attach techniques and methodologies, to include application and mitigation techniques.
  • Demonstrate experience applying continuous integration and automated testing tools to software development practices.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Active and current TS/SCI w FSP Clearance through Maryland
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, information systems, or applicable engineering field
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience programming cyber tools and/or techniques for the US Government or commercial sector
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a computer science, information systems, or network engineering field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, and/or Python
  • Professional experience performing open-source research & vulnerability analysis
  • Professional experience utilizing reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro and/or Ghidra to analyze firmware of embedded devices
  • Proficiency in network protocols, routers, and network security

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Demonstrated experience programming techniques to evade host and/or network-based intrusion detection systems
  • Demonstrated experience developing programs to capture, analyze, and interpret raw network traffic
  • Demonstrated experience with network sockets programming including developing packet-level programs, expert packet-level understanding of IP, TCP, and application-level protocols
  • Demonstrated understanding of IP, TCP, and application-level protocols
  • Experience developing documentation and reports (analysis reports, test reports, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver briefings, technical presentations, and program documentation to senior program management
