Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Salary: $70 $80/hr DOE; Conversion salary: $155K $160K annually
Location: San Diego, CA | Dallas, TX | Washington, D.C.
Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire | Hybrid (3 days onsite/week)

About the Role:

Yoh is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting secure, scalable infrastructure and automation initiatives. This role focuses on DevOps engineering (not full-stack development) and involves scripting, automation, and secure software delivery practices. You ll work closely with internal teams to support ERP systems, REST APIs, and infrastructure governed by CUI ITAR access controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage CUI ITAR-compliant access controls across infrastructure and services.
  • Automate deployment processes and access provisioning for internal systems.
  • Support and maintain ERP business systems and RESTful APIs.
  • Respond to Jira-based support requests and troubleshoot DevOps-related issues.
  • Enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, SonarQube, and Artifactory.
  • Apply secure software development practices and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and delivery speed.
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure automation, or related engineering roles.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  • Proficient with SonarQube, Artifactory, and Git-based workflows.
  • Solid understanding of secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep).
  • Experience supporting enterprise systems and REST APIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
  • Knowledge of NIST SSDF or similar secure development frameworks.
  • Experience in security-sensitive environments with regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and business-critical application support.
  • Exposure to Blazor or Python-based internal tooling (a plus, not required).




Estimated Min Rate: $70.00
Estimated Max Rate: $80.00
