UiPath Quality Engineer (RPA Testing)

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with RPA developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and automation workflows.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test data for UiPath automation processes.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing of RPA bots in UiPath Studio and Orchestrator.
• Validate and verify automation workflows across multiple environments (DEV, UAT, PROD).
• Use UiPath Test Suite (or similar automation testing tools) for automation of test execution where applicable.
• Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar defect management tools.
• Ensure compliance with RPA best practices, coding standards, and testing guidelines.
• Participate in code reviews and peer testing for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve automation stability and performance.
• Provide regular status reports, test metrics, and defect analysis to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering / Software Testing, with at least 1+ year in RPA testing using UiPath.
• Strong understanding of UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Test Suite.
• Experience in automation test scripting using UiPath or other automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with API testing, database testing, and integration testing.
• Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• UiPath Certified Professional (UiPath RPA Associate or UiPath Advanced Developer).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for RPA deployments.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (VB.NET, C#, or Python) for test automation.
• Experience in performance testing of automation bots.
