Job Details

Job Description: The Dynatrace Engineer will be assigned user stories to configure and implement Dynatrace Gen3 Cloud-based APM monitoring of

business applications, infrastructure, hosts, synthetic services, and Azure tenants and subscriptions. This role requires extensive hands-on experience with Dynatrace's capabilities, including DQL, building dashboards for both technical and business users, and leveraging all levels of detail in alerts, problems, and events, with a proven ability to execute in an agile environment with accuracy and speed. Key Responsibilities: Implement and configure monitoring across hosts, services, applications, Kubernetes, cloud resources, and Azure tenants and subscriptions within Dynatrace SaaS Gen3. Leverage DQL to build queries, dashboards, and actionable insights. Build and maintain dashboards tailored for both technical users (Application development, operations) and business users (application owners, executives). Configure and optimize monitoring types including OneAgent, agentless monitoring, synthetic tests (API and browser), log ingestion, and custom metrics. Set up alerting profiles, tagging rules, management zones, and business application views. Leverage Dynatrace alerts, problems, and events to provide actionable insights at multiple levels of detail. Estimate and deliver assigned user stories based on prior hands-on experience. Following monitoring enterprise tagging standards and governance. Troubleshoot issues with monitoring configurations Document monitoring configurations, dashboards, and runbooks. Qualifications: 2+ years of direct hands-on experience implementing Dynatrace in enterprise environments. Strong expertise with Dynatrace SaaS Gen3. Proficiency in DQL with proven ability to create advanced queries and dashboards. Experience building dashboards for both technical and business stakeholders. Experience with OneAgent configuration across Windows, Linux, and Azure containerized environments including HelmChart. Hands-on experience with synthetic monitoring, log ingestion, custom metric ingestion, monitoring Azure tenants and subscriptions, and leveraging alerts, problems, and events. Ability to configure tagging rules, management zones, alerting profiles, for the business applications being monitored. Solid understanding of cloud environments (Azure) and their integration with Dynatrace. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
