Our client provides world-class shared technology services to our credit union partners. They are seeking a hands-on technical Manager of Information Technology (IT) to drive the development and growth of our technology organization. This leader will work directly with shared services leadership, internal stakeholders, our partners, and lead an operational support team. The position is primarily remote, but we are only seeking candidates who can travel to central NJ sites for hands-on support and meetings.
The Manager of Information Technology will be responsible for:

  • Managing an offshore MSP and NJ full time staff to provide: Security Administration, Disaster Recovery, Network Administration, Help Desk-End User Support, Server Administration, Hardware Support, Software Support and Service Management
  • Creating technical designs, architecting solutions, and leading projects
  • Responding to cyber security alerts and events
  • Providing hands-on technical support, with infrequent travel to sites in NJ
  • Assisting with technology contract renewals and vendor management
  • Managing day-to-day operational incidents

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 10+ years of experience in IT
  • 7+ years of demonstrated leadership experience, including strategy, budgeting, and staffing
  • Strong leadership presence
  • Experience working with and within an on/offshore shared services technology organization
  • Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Process-oriented and highly organized
  • Experience in implementing new processes and technology
  • Demonstrated experience supporting local and wide-area networks; including SD-WAN, wireless, and telephony, is strongly preferred
