Job Description
Responsibilities
Provide IT application support to users at global Manufacturing locations, and warehouse locations and Distributions centers to maintain existing applications. Lead and manage the IT application support including working with Oracle Support, External Service Providers and System Integrators to resolve application issues. Manage the IT application support and enhancement requests queue logged in the Service Desk application, ServiceNow, for Order management, Pricing, shipping, Sales, and Service. This will require conducting meetings with the business stakeholders, prioritizing requests, and driving resolution of the issues and requests. Manage and support the IT Change Control process for application issues. Implement new and enhancement projects from initiation to implementation phase including gathering requirements, writing functional design documents, communicating requirements to technical team members, writing test scripts, implementing, and training end users and IT support staff. Work on all areas of Oracle E-Business suite including Order Management, Pricing, Shipping, Inventory, SCM, WMS, Service and CRM Sales Applications. Manage IT Application operations team and guide them in their duties. Work on or support key processes and elements including Orders and Shipping functions, Order to Cash, Return to Service, Install base etc. in Oracle EBS and other integrated applications. Identify process improvements and work with business partners effectively to implement change. Guide internal/external teams in developing reports, customizations, interfaces, and extensions for Oracle applications. Act as a liaison between business users and other technical resources, including ICU IT Infrastructure/Operations team members, and external service providers. Provide management reports on IT Project statuses, KPI related to tickets and enhancements. Work on special projects as assigned. *Hybrid work is permitted. When not working from home, must report to San Clemente, CA office. * <5% domestic travel is required per year.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or any related Engineering field plus Ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or closely related occupation.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be "quantified" by "time." Required expertise/knowledge includes: Expertise in Depot repair, Order management, Shipping, Inventory, Installed base, Field Service, Spares Management, Service Contracts; Working knowledge of Warehouse Management, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, WIP, BOM, Costing modules; Experience in global business process design, build, configure oracle system, test, implement, upgrade, document, monitor and audit Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Warehouse Management and CRM Services business solutions leveraging Oracle's E-Business Suite; Business process reengineering activities with the business units to deploy solutions that conform to the Global Template Solution; Partnering with 3rd Party implementation partners to lead Design, Configuration, test and deploy new/enhanced functionalities, business flows etc.; Supporting master data management in support of the business processes; Experience analyzing Oracle EBS patches to support business and 3rd party planned releases as well as one off patches in support of Oracle applications; Knowledge of Oracle SQL; Support SOX requirements, Internal and external auditing, Supporting FDA Compliance Management.
