Technical Project Manager

CompQsoft is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at Fort Meade, MD for the DISA program.

Job Description:
The Network Technical Project Manager at DISA is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and finalization of network-related projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members, third-party contractors, or consultants in order to deliver projects and deliverables In Accordance With (IAW) the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Network Technical Project Manager also defines the project s objectives and oversees quality control throughout its life cycle.

Experience/Qualifications:
DoD and/or Government program experience preferred; DISA experience a plus.
Bachelor's or Master s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in network project management, preferably in a defense or government setting.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, infrastructure, and security practices.
Familiarity with DISA's mission, policies, and procedures.
Experience leading and managing multiple cross-functional project teams concurrently.
Strong communication, organizational, effective leadership, and analytical skills.
Knowledge of project management software tools and methodologies.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools; specifically, PowerPoint, Word & Excel

Special Requirements/Security Clearance:
DoD Active Secret Clearance Required
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent required.
