Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Richmond, VA (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months (W2 Contract)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep domain knowledge in Collateral Management, particularly with exposure to systems like Colline and Apex. The candidate will act as a Product Owner / Senior Business Analyst, leading the design and implementation of enterprise-wide collateral solutions that meet client needs and align with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex collateral management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business and IT teams to gather requirements, design wireframes, and translate business needs into functional specs.
  • Define and oversee execution of strategic, system-wide data and process flows (including SWIFT integration).
  • Act as the key liaison between business, development, QA, and project stakeholders.
  • Drive simplification and standardization of collateral management systems and data integrations.
  • Manage project plans, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), training plans, and implementation readiness.
  • Ensure adherence to project governance and methodology (Agile/SDLC).
  • Supervise and guide junior team members as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in financial services with a strong focus on collateral management systems.
  • Experience working as a Business Analyst or Product Owner on enterprise financial applications.
  • Strong understanding of Colline, Apex, Cloud Margin, or similar platforms (preferred).
  • Knowledge of SWIFT messaging for securities and cash settlements.
  • Familiarity with trade flows, valuation data, reference/market data, and end-to-end architecture.
  • Hands-on SQL and relational/object database experience.
  • High-level proficiency in Excel, Access, VBA, and Visio.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and full project lifecycle (SDLC).
